Lamb Chops & Herby Potato Salad

Lamb Chops & Herby Potato Salad

This is one of those dishes we love making at home when we want something that feels a bit special, but is actually really simple to throw together. These lamb chops are marinated in our Lamb Shish Marinade, then cooked until perfectly tender & juicy— we love them on the BBQ, but they work just as well on the grill or even slow roasted in the oven.

Instead of going down the classic kebab route, we’ve paired them with a fresh, herby potato salad which brings everything together beautifully. It’s still got all those authentic Turkish flavours, just served in a slightly different way — perfect for an easy dinner, sharing with friends, or a relaxed weekend meal.

Ingredients

For the Lamb:

For the Potato Salad

  • 300g Baby Potatoes
  • 2 Tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 Cucumber, chopped
  • 2 Spring Onions, finely sliced
  • 5 Mint Leaves, Finely sliced
  • 10g Parsley, chopped
  • 10g Coriander, chopped
  • 3 tbsp Turkish Salad Dressing
  • 1/2tsp Salt

Cooking Instructions

    1. Place the lamb chops in a large bowl and marinate in the Lamb Shish Marinade. Make sure to rub the marinade into the chops.
    2. While the chops marinate, prepare your BBQ. We are going to cook these over quite a high heat so the fat chars but they are still slightly pink in the middle. You'll still need the coals to have fully turned white so they'll need around 45mins to settle. If you prefer you could grill them indoors or even use an air fryer.
    3. While the coal settles, prepare your potato salad. Wash and boil the potatoes until they are tender. Drain and put in the fridge to cool.
    4. Once they have cooled, peel the skin - this should come of easily.
    5. Place all of the other chopped salad ingredients in a large bowl with the potatoes, drizzle over the salad dressing and gently mix. Put to the side and cook your chops.
    6. Place the chops on the BBQ or grill and cook for approx 4 minutes each side. If you prefer them well done then cook for longer. If using an air fryer then set to 200c and cook for 8-12mins, flipping half way.
    7. Plate up and serve! You could also serve this with hummus or Cacik - check out our side dishes on our recipe page!
